What is slowed + reverb?
Slowed and reverb is an edit, not a genre. You take a song you already love, drop its playback speed a little, and push it through a reverb so it sounds like it's playing in a much larger room. Because slowing playback also lowers the pitch, vocals sit deeper and the whole record turns hazy and unhurried. It's the same instinct behind Houston's chopped and screwed tapes, rebuilt by a generation posting edits to TikTok and YouTube.
Most edits live between 0.75x and 0.9x speed. Somewhere around 0.8x is the sweet spot: slow enough to change the mood completely, fast enough that the vocal still sounds like a person. Reverb between 30% and 50% gives you the familiar washed-out tail without burying the drums. Add bass boost if you want the low end to hit on phone speakers and car systems.

Yes. The bass boost slider applies a low-shelf lift of up to +12 dB below 110 Hz, and the output is automatically compensated and soft-limited so a heavy boost doesn't clip or distort your export.
